BenQ Announces GP1 Pico Projector
2009-01-08 18:27:32 by Jason in News at About Projectors

Yesterday while we were talking about the DLP display technology that has been behind many of the new pico projectors, we mentioned the BenQ GP1 projector. The GP1 looks like a toy but it comes with some impressive stats like 100 ANSI lumens and the ability to project images up to 80 inches, diagonally. This model can fit easily into any bag, and weighing only 1.4 lbs, you’ll barely even know it’s there. According to BenQ, this model has a USB, composite, and VGA inputs. It even comes with a detachable iPod dock station. The GP1 is not expected to debut until March, but the retail price has already been set at just under $599, which is a little pricy when compared to the other pico projectors already available and others to come.
